Wat is circulatie

Circulatie houdt in dat het zwemwater voortdurend via een waterbehandelingsinstallatie wordt rond gepompt, door de installatie wordt gezuiverd en deels wordt ververst. Beslissingen over bijvoorbeeld de juiste circulatiesnelheid hangen af van verschillende situationele factoren. Zo moet rekening worden gehouden met de inhoud van het bad, de belasting van het water, en de afstand die het water moet afleggen tot de waterbehandelingsinstallatie.

• Dead zones with standing water should be avoided to ensure that the disinfectant can spread throughout the water mass and to avoid accumulations of contaminants.
